Colleen Carlon
Colleen currently works in the Edith Cowan University Social Work Program based on the South West campus. Colleen’s research interests include suicide bereavement, community development and higher education in regional contexts. Colleen has lived experience of suicide loss, researches the sociality of the experience of suicide grief and works with local agencies across the South West Region in applying research through an annual suicide bereavement community forum. Colleen is the Independent Chairperson for South West Suicide Prevention Steering Group and headspace Bunbury Consortium.
