Lidia M Di Lembo
Lidia Di Lembo, Co Founder and Chairperson of SabrinasReach4Life, a charity in the Northern Territory focussed on suicide prevention, intervention and postvention. She established the only Bereavement by Suicide Support Group in the NT which meets once a month and spearheaded the annual World Suicide Prevention Day event which brings the sector together each year. Lidia is also a member of the SPA Lived Experience Panel and the NT State Committee; Co Chair of Postvention Australia and has a long history of being a Non Executive Director of various boards. She is most importantly a suicide loss survivor who lost her daughter Sabrina Josephine to suicide in 2017. She was 19 years old with no prior history of mental illness until 3 months prior to her death. A coronial inquest was held into her death which highlighted a number of failings by the health system and private practitioners. Lidia is a strong advocate in suicide prevention and postvention at a local and national level. Having worked in a number of complex portfolios in both the Federal and Northern Territory government as an Executive leader for over 38 years, she gave that up at the end of 2022 to pursue a change in career to help others by becoming a Trauma Inspired Mindset and Leadership Coach. She also works part time as a Practice Manager at the Darwin Head to Health Centre.
