Alyssa R Morse
Alyssa is a lived experience mental health researcher at the Centre for Mental Health Research, where she was supported by a Suicide Prevention Australia (SPA) Post-Doctoral Fellowship from 2022-2024. Her Fellowship project aimed to establish the feasibility and effectiveness of the Safe Haven services in South Western Sydney LHD as a genuine alternative to the emergency department for people experiencing suicidal crisis. Alyssa's other research interests include: (1) improving lived experience involvement in research, health services and health policy; (2) prevention and promotion in youth mental health; and (3) mental health service evaluation and design.
