Kirsten Panton

Dr. Kirsten Panton is a registered clinical psychologist with a diverse professional portfolio across community services, private practice, and research. Though working with variety of presenting concerns her clinical interests are experiences of trauma and suicidal behaviours. Dr. Panton has academic experience, having served as a lecturer at The University of Western Australia (UWA). There, she played a key role in developing and delivering the Graduate Certificate in the Diagnosis and Assessment of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). She continues to collaborate with UWA as an honorary research fellow, where her research centres on improving diagnostic models of care, interventions, and educational programs. Currently, Dr. Panton is the clinical team lead at The Luminos Project, a pioneering short-stay residential program for young people experiencing thoughts of suicide. She was instrumental in the development of the program from its conception and now guides the team through its pilot phase.
