Tanya Russo
Tanya Russo is a member of the Student Support Services leadership team in the Department for Education, leading the Social Work Incident Support Service (SWISS).
Tanya brings 23 years of social work experience in child protection and education government systems.
In her current role she leads a team of social workers who provide a timely, evidenced based and compassionate response to critical incidents that impact preschools and schools across South Australia. The service provides information, guidance and support to assist the leadership to restore the education site to equilibrium to enable children and young people affected to re-connect with their learning.
